Finding Peace Within.
A man sits alone, with head in palm,
A finger pressed against his lips,
Whispering quiet, "hush now, calm,
Your thoughts are but a tempest, rip".
He struggles to find peace within,
His mind a whirlpool of despair,
He longs for a moment to begin,
To find solace from his constant care.
The finger speaks again, "be still,
Let go of worry, let go of fret,
Find tranquility, let go of will,
And let your worries all forget."
The man takes a deep breath, and sighs,
And slowly, slowly, his mind clears,
He finds a moment of surprise,
And a sense of calm, so dear.
He sits there, in silence, at ease,
His finger still pressed against his lips,
And for the first time in a long while,
He feels a sense of inner bliss.
