Is Mason Greenwood joining United sqaud for this Season?

Mason Greenwood is one of the U21 players allowed to represent a team in the Premier League.
But the 20-year-old is still suspended from Man United while the investigation is ongoing.
In June, a secret hearing resulted in the Man United player's conditional bail being increased.

The 20-year-old is on a list of U21 players who are qualified to play for the first team in the Premier League this season but has not been named in the 25-man lineup.

However, that does not mean that his situation, in which he is accused of raping, assaulting sexually, and threatening to kill an 18-year-old student, has changed.

Police did not say when it would end following the June closed-door court case, though.

A GMP spokesman stated: "As the outcome of bail reviews does not impact the progression of investigations, Greater Manchester Police will not be providing any further updates in relation to this case until the suspect is charged or released facing no further action."

Since his arrest, Greenwood's player profile has remained online, but the team has forbidden supporters from purchasing shirts with his name and No. 11 on the back.

However, United is obligated by contract to continue paying Greenwood's £75,000 weekly wage.

On January 22, he made his final club debut in a 1-0 victory over West Ham.
